I am a 36 year old mother of 4. Writing has always been my outlet. I wrote as a child of an addict all through growing up. My writing was my personal escape so I wouldn’t have to tell anyone what I was going through and the thought of someome reading what I wrote always remained. When my daughter was rushed to the ER in May of 2017 after consuming meth I began to share the story in hopes if helping others and set up a platform on Facebook for addicts and their families to have a place to go when there was no other.
As I have not healed from the life changing experience in May that event and was just getting started with that platform my life has changed.
I was diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. I have now decided to focus my blog on sharing my journey for those those experiencing something similar. Thinking you may have cancer all the way until you find out is a scary and emotional experience. With a huge support system I have been getting through it. I want to offer that to others.
